The Solution Consultant is responsible for conducting discovery calls with our Inside and Field Account Executives, draft and deliver presentations, demonstrate the features of company products, and create configured software solution demonstrations for prospects.
Job Description / Responsibilities and Duties:
Conduct client solution alignment calls with Account Executives.
Collaborate with the Sales Teams to identify and uncover prospect and customer business goals, needs, and pains.
Strategizing with the sales team to create configured software solution demonstrations.
Meet with clients to discuss their needs.
Draft and deliver solution presentations on targeted products.
Work with Account Executives to develop and maintain customer relationships.
Provide training for prospects as needed to evaluate solutions.
Identify opportunities for integration to enhance platform stickiness.
Build working knowledge of competing products (both direct and adjacent) and how to technically sell against them.
Support the sales team with all technical related queries.
Provide technical support for completion of RFI/RFP.
Maintain current on all assigned internal CQ training as assigned in the CQ-QMS.
Comply with all internal CQ Quality and Information Security requirements.
Requirements/Qualifications:
BS degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or another related field.
5+ years of experience as a Solutions Engineer or similar role in a software company.
Familiarity with enterprise software systems (Salesforce is a plus).
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong analytical problem-solving skills.
Ability to create big-picture software solutions.
Ability to present ideas in a clean, user-friendly way.
Attention to detail.
Ability to travel 20% as required for on-site for demos etc.
