Just 4 Kids Pediatric Dentistry is seeking a patient-focused, enthusiastic, and skilled Part-Time Pediatric Dentist to join our high-quality, child-centered practice. The ideal candidate is experienced in treating children and adolescents and is passionate about providing exceptional dental care in a supportive, team-based environment. Training and experience in in-office general anesthesia (GA) cases, including full mouth rehabilitation, is required. This position offers flexibility, clinical autonomy, and a strong support team, with Fridays as a required workday.

Position Summary:

Just 4 Kids Pediatric Dentistry is seeking a patient-focused, enthusiastic, and skilled Part-Time Pediatric Dentist to join our high-quality, child-centered practice. The ideal candidate is experienced in treating children and adolescents and is passionate about providing exceptional dental care in a supportive, team-based environment. Training and experience in in-office general anesthesia (GA) cases, including full mouth rehabilitation, is required. This position offers flexibility, clinical autonomy, and a strong support team, with Fridays as a required workday.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive dental exams, preventive services, and restorative care for pediatric and adolescent patients
  • Perform full mouth rehabilitation under in-office general anesthesia, in coordination with an anesthesia team
  • Develop personalized treatment plans, educate parents/guardians, and ensure a positive dental experience for each child
  • Utilize advanced behavior management techniques to treat young or special needs patients effectively
  • Maintain detailed and accurate patient records using Dentrix Patient Management Software
  • Collaborate with clinical and administrative staff to ensure seamless patient care
  • Refer patients appropriately to in-house or external specialists when necessary
  • Ensure strict adherence to OSHA, HIPAA, and infection control protocols

Qualifications:

  • DDS/DMD from an accredited dental school
  • Completion of a CODA-accredited Pediatric Dentistry Residency Program
  • Active Virginia Dental License in good standing
  • Current BLS/CPR/PALS certification required
  • Trained and experienced in full mouth rehabilitation under general anesthesia
  • Familiarity with Dentrix or similar dental software preferred
  • Excellent communication skills and a commitment to compassionate, child-centered care
  • Comfort and experience working with children of all ages, including those with special needs

Technology & Tools:

  • Intra-oral photography for diagnostic documentation and patient education
  • CBCT (Cone Beam CT) for advanced imaging and treatment planning
  • Cari-Vu for early caries detection
  • Smart Image AI for enhanced diagnostic accuracy and treatment analysis

Schedule:

  • Part-time: 1–2 days per week
  • Fridays required
  • Additional day(s) may be flexible based on candidate availability and clinic needs

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Highly competitive daily rate or percentage of production, whichever is higher
