Compensation: $21.44 - $27.16 - New hires will be placed at Step 1 through 9 dependent on prior contracted educational experience. Employees in qualifying positions will receive a comprehensive benefit package that includes medical, dental and vision and will receive contributions to their PERS retirement accounts. Description of the Position: Prepare high school students for academic success and career pathways. The successful candidate will organize and support career and college exploration events for all students in the district.

Job Duties/Responsibilities: Essential duties of this position include the following. Employees in this position perform some or all of the following tasks. Other related duties may be assigned.
- Follows and maintains knowledge of applicable District policy(ies) and procedures.
- Implement the career and college component of the Three Rivers School District Comprehensive Career Guidance Program by supporting the program philosophy, utilizing date, delivering student-centered competency-based services, and managing resources effectively and efficiently.
- Help students identify their interests, strengths, preferences, academics and skills as they relate to career development.
- Provide exploration opportunities to expand student interest and skills
- Facilitate and coordinate career planning to assist students to explore possibilities for beyond high school.
- Creating and piloting student led conferences.
- Maintain active contact with community members and volunteers to set up career day activities, job shadow opportunities, guest speakers, and field trips.
- Facilitate students taking the National Career Readiness Certificate (NCRC) exam.
- Serves as a liaison for students and parents/guardians for outside support with Job Corps, Job Council, RCC, TRiO programs, etc.
- Follows prescribed daily schedule as outlined by the principal. Adhere to ethical guidelines and state/federal mandates.
- Maintains safe environment for students at all times.
- Interacts thoughtfully and courteously with students, staff and parents and resolves conflict in a professional manner.
- Appropriately maintains and secures confidential records and inquiries.
- Professionally represents the school and the District in interactions with parents, community, staff, and students.
- Maintains appropriate certifications and training hours as required.
- Attends work regularly and is punctual.
