Description

The Director of Marketing is responsible for leading all strategic marketing efforts for the company’s telecommunications services across both Competitive Local Exchange Carrier (CLEC) and Incumbent Local Exchange Carrier (ILEC) markets. This role oversees branding, product marketing, customer acquisition and retention campaigns, market research, advertising, public relations, and digital marketing to drive business growth and enhance brand visibility.







Key Responsibilities:




  • Strategic Planning


    • Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies that align with the company's growth objectives across CLEC and ILEC territories.

    • Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape to identify new business opportunities and product positioning.



  • Brand Management

    • Lead company-wide branding efforts and ensure consistency across all channels and customer touchpoints.

    • Promote brand awareness and loyalty within both legacy and expansion markets.



  • Campaigns & Promotions

    • Design and manage targeted campaigns to promote internet, voice and video

    • Coordinate seasonal promotions and community sponsorships



  • Digital Marketing

    • Oversee the company’s online presence, including website, SEO, SEM, email marketing, and social media.

    • Utilize analytics tools to track and improve digital campaign performance and lead generation.



  • Public Relations & Community Engagement

    • Serve as the company’s spokesperson for media relations and community outreach initiatives.

    • Manage relationships with local organizations, chambers of commerce, and event partners.



  • Customer Experience

    • Partner with customer service and sales teams to improve customer retention and satisfaction through proactive communication strategies.

    • Monitor Net Promoter Scores (NPS) and feedback loops to ensure the brand voice resonates with customers.




Qualifications



  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field.

  • 5+ years of progressive experience in marketing, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.

  • Experience in the telecommunications industry or other regulated utility markets strongly preferred.

  • Strong understanding of both CLEC and ILEC operations, technologies, and customer segments.

  • Proven track record in digital marketing, brand management, and lead generation.

  • Excellent communication, analytical, and project management skills.
