Requirements
Requirements:
· Experience with MS Office programs (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint)
· Familiar with Google Earth or equivalent GIS program
· Ability to interpret plans and blueprints
· Excellent organizational and time management skills
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills
· Possess sense of urgency and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
· Ability to manage and schedule multiple projects simultaneously and independently
· Ability to establish and maintain positive and effective working relationships
· Attention to detail
· Act in a professional manner
· Valid Driver’s License with clean driving record
· HS Graduate or equivalent
Preferred Qualifications:
· Working knowledge of relevant State, County and municipal building codes
· Full-spectrum knowledge of the permitting process and requirements
· Knowledge of county property search and mapping system
· Familiar with Salesforce, SPANS and NJUNS
Summary
Primary Responsibilities:
· Assist in preparation and submission of packages for permit and license applications, including requests for site plans, Notice of Commencement, Certificate of Insurance, bonds and permitting fees.
· Serve as point of contact between field engineering vendor and permitting entity.
· Serve as point of contact to the utility companies with respect to pole rent/attachments.
· Upload pertinent documents and status updates to permit database.
· Schedule permit packet submission or pick up as necessary.
· Work closely with functional partners (Service Delivery, Outside Plant, Accounting) in project meetings, as well as via email and phone.
· Maintain permitting reports and distribute updates in a timely manner.
· Foster and maintain relationships with municipalities, act as liaison between Bluebird Fiber and community
