Primary Duties and Responsibilities
The Creative Arts Collective (CAC) is seeking 2–4 imaginative and visionary Belmont students to serve as Imagination Scholars — a paid, part-time role for students who are invited to help shape the spiritual and creative life of Belmont’s campus. Rooted in creativity and community building, this paid opportunity allows students to build original creative work, assist with Creative Arts Collective events, and engage the campus community at the intersection of faith and art. Primary Responsibilities What You’ll Gain
Each semester, scholars will work alongside their peers and fellow creatives on campus to serve and develop a vibrant artistic community on campus. As ambassadors for the Creative Arts Collective, scholars will design creative projects that connect the Creative Arts Collective to the on-campus community, and look for opportunities to connect the Creative Arts Collective to the creativity already taking place on campus. The program is intentionally experimental: scholars shape its structure, outputs, and culture.
Design and execute a creative, student-facing project or event (individually or collaboratively).
Attend orientation and participate in monthly cohort meetings.
Contribute to the creation of a campus-wide map of student-led creative and arts opportunities.
Assist in planning and supporting CAC events such as Day to Dream and the CAC Creative Summit.
Serve as a campus ambassador for CAC, including outreach through student organizations, peer networks, and campus-wide events (e.g., It Must Be Wednesday).
Help co-create and refine the Imagination Scholar position through feedback and perspective as part of the inaugural cohort.
Serve for the Fall 2025 semester.
Dedicated mentorship and guidance from CAC staff and faculty.
Paid experience in the arts and community leadership.
A platform to bring your creative ideas to life.
Potential opportunities to collaborate with CAC’s nationwide network of artists and grantees.
A unique, student-led creative cohort committed to curiosity, imagination, and impact.
