What you'll do:
- Leverage internal systems and data analytics to extract insights that inform and optimize pricing strategies
- Partner with branch and district managers to gather market intelligence and ensure pricing aligns with local competitive dynamics
- Support branch and sales teams in understanding, adopting, and consistently executing established pricing processes
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Supply Chain to ensure timely and accurate implementation of cost changes within internal systems
- Track, analyze, and report on key pricing performance metrics to evaluate effectiveness and identify improvement opportunities
- Develop and deliver recurring and ad hoc reports that support strategic pricing decisions and business planning
- Conduct in-depth analyses of pricing trends across product categories, identifying opportunities to drive revenue growth and improve profit margins
What you'll bring:
- Bachelor's degree in business or a related field
- Over 3 years of relevant work experience
- Strong technical proficiency in pricing software and systems, including ERP systems and pricing management platforms
- Solid understanding of data management principles, including data entry and quality assurance
- Experience in training and user support, with the ability to develop training materials and conduct training sessions
- Proactive mindset with the ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
- Proficiency in analyzing complex data sets to extract meaningful insights and troubleshoot system issues and data discrepancies
- Familiarity with analytical tools such as Tableau, Microsoft Power BI, Python, or Alteryx is advantageous
- Exceptional communication and organizational skills, with the capability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
