SUMMARY
The Recreation Attendant (“Asistente de Recreación”) welcome our guests with a warm and friendly smile. Courteously and efficiently facilitate hotel recreational activities as directed by hotel management. Proactively provide our guests with personal service and attention that exceeds their expectations.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES
- Promotes the personal, educational, physical and social development of children through quality programs, service and activities.
- Presents a service oriented, positive, and enthusiastic image.
- Ensures that participants follow rules and regulations.
- Follows structured curriculum and facilitates daily recreational and enrichment activities which include but are not limited to games, sports, art, music and crafts for program participants.
- Ensures that program equipment, facilities and supplies are available, used properly, cared for, and meet applicable health and safety standards.
- Assist in preparing recreational area for group activities.
- Supervises program participants.
- Reports to work as scheduled in a proper and clean uniform.
- Monitors and ensures the safe behavior of children, by courteously enforcing all safety rules.
- Follows-up with the guest to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Makes management aware of any malfunctioning equipment or damaged furnishings in the area.
- Possesses positive/outgoing interpersonal skills necessary to establish and maintain good working relationships with hotel staff, as well as guests and their children.
- Ability to effectively maintain order and control, especially when working with a group of children.
- Performs additional duties and responsibilities as directed by the leadership team.
