Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver standards-aligned instruction in middle school English and/or Social Studies to students requiring competency recovery.
• Assess student progress and adjust instruction to support individual learning needs.
• Collaborate with the summer program team to track student participation and success.
• Create a supportive, engaging, and structured learning environment.
• Provide timely feedback to students and maintain communication with program coordinators and families as needed.
• Maintain accurate attendance and progress data for reporting and documentation.

Qualifications:

• Valid NH Teaching Certification in Middle School English and/or Social Studies (or equivalent in other states).
• Experience working with middle school students in a differentiated or competency-based learning environment.
• Strong instructional and classroom management skills.
• Ability to motivate and support students in a short-term, accelerated learning model.
• Familiarity with digital tools and platforms for assessment and instruction is a plus.
