Position Detail:

·         One full-time position available

·         Starting date: 2026-2027 school year

 

Qualifications/Requirements:

·         Bachelor’s degree required

·         State of Michigan Teaching Certification Required

o   Endorsements in ZG (K-5 all subjects)

o   Endorsements in K-12 Art Education and/or K-12 Music preferred

·         Knowledge of child development and best practices for elementary instruction

·         Strong classroom management and organizational skills

·         Ability to foster creativity, curiosity, and confidence in young learners

·         Strong communication and collaboration skills

 

Skills and Experience:

·         Previous experience working in an elementary school setting preferred

·         Position will require lesson planning and grading

·         Strong classroom management and organizational skills

·         Flexibility is essential and must be a team player.

·         Professionalism is expected

·         Ability to communicate well with students, staff, and parents

·         Must attend appropriate Professional Development days
