JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- *Follows Job Analysis/Food Production/Preparation: Maintains efficient meal preparation, service, and delivery to patients and other customers. Prepares and distributes food items to ensure proper quality, quantity, appearance, temperature and timeliness. Follows departmental policies and procedures.
- Completes all aspects of job analysis.
- Prepares food according to recipes.
- Food prepared to achieve good quality and presentation, including proper garnishes.
- Food prepared in proper quantities per production sheet guidelines.
- Temperatures maintained according to regulatory agencies.
- Food is produced and served at the proper temperatures.
- Uses appropriate items and stores properly.
- Assists in caterings.
- Completes food samples as required.
- Insures sanitation pails are clean and filled.
- Prepares food items for next day, according to established menus.
