English Language Arts Teacher

LOCATION:  Haslett Middle School          
April 20, 2026


REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Must hold a valid Michigan teaching certificate
  • Must hold a BX or BA endorsement (English)
  • Must meet ESSA Highly Qualified Teacher requirements 
  • Middle School grades 6-8 certification.  


DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Knowledge of and dedication to middle school concepts 
  • Willingness to participate in extra-curricular responsibilities (coaching, clubs, etc.)
  • Ability to demonstrate knowledge of research-based, highly effective instructional strategies
  • Experience working with Section 504 and students with an IEP


SALARY BENEFITS:  In accordance with the HEA Master Contract
