- Valid Texas teaching certificate, with required special education endorsements for assignments

- Demonstrate evidence of being trained (or willingness to become a district trainer) in physical intervention techniques, such as CPI, Satori, etc�

PRIMARY PURPOSE:
Provide leadership and support to ensure effective planning, development and implementation of instructional and behavior supports in the least restrictive environment. Utilize scientifically, research-based and/ or peer reviewed instructional and behavior support strategies to foster the educational success of special education eligible students with behavioral and social skills needs. Create and utilize a district-wide training and support plan to address and support the needs of educators, parents and students.
