Family First Health is seeking a full-time or part-time Dental Hygienist for our Columbia location in York County. We offer a competitive salary, excellent benefits (including PTO, 403(b), health and vision insurance, paid holidays, continuing education allowance) and potential loan repayment through the NHSC. Essential Duties and Responsibilities




  • Provide the full scope of dental hygiene care.

  • Offer professional feedback and insight regarding patient care, departmental policies, and organizational procedures as requested.

  • Facilitate, contribute to, and report on activities related to patient care.

  • Organize and ensure continuity of care based on patient needs.

  • Accurately and thoroughly document patient visits and treatment plans.

  • Guide dental assistants as needed and participate in the training of auxiliary dental staff.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.



 



 



 



 



KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES 




  • Graduation from an accredited dental school and a valid license to practice dentistry in the state of Pennsylvania.

  • Current CPR Certification

  • Ability to convey information effectively and in a caring and supportive manner with individuals of all backgrounds.

  • Ability to use logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems.

  • Customer service oriented – ability to focus on patient care and outcomes.
