Overview:

The Enterprise Data Architect will facilitate the development of enterprise architect, communicate the technical architectures, roadmaps and solutions for our products and assist in defining our technology future. This role will support numerous technologies spanning multiple architecture domains and product portfolios.  Must collaborate in building high-quality enterprise architecture solutions as well as providing expertise and guidance on the design and establishment of architecture standards that align with current and future business needs. This role develops and maintains the architecture frameworks and patterns that guide technology decisions. The successful individual in this role must have deep solution architecture experience as well as an understanding of industry practice, technology trends, innovation, and communication. This individual must be a strategic thinker, have a strong business acumen, and the ability to influence or guide senior technical and non-technical leadership.



Responsibilities:
  • Experience in architecting global public cloud based SaaS platforms at scale that is distributed globally
  • Experience with wide range of technologies, hosting environments, security landscape and infrastructure
  • Possesses a well-versed knowledge and detailed understanding of enterprise integration patterns, with tactical experience implementing solutions that adhere to those patterns.
  • Proven enterprise architecture experience working with significant degree of creativity and independence in a highly distributed global computing environment.
  • Ability to deliver results and work cross-functionally to position and orchestrate solutions consisting of multiple products.
  • Proven track record of translating business goals and strategy into target architectures and roadmaps
  • Experience in managing a smooth transition from current architecture to a target architecture
  • Ability to define, track and share KPIs to measure the effectiveness of Enterprise Architecture
  • Experience working in matrixed organization
  • Experience in an IT role requiring effective communication with senior leadership and all relevant functions not limited to product, engineering, security, and infrastructure
  • Experience delivering architecture solutions in an agile environment and constantly evolve the architecture with changing business needs
  • Experience in cross-domain IT architecture
  • Knowledge of technology solutions and ability to learn, understand, and work quickly with emerging technologies, methodologies, and solutions in the cloud/IT technology space.
  • Experience overseeing and performing research studies and presentations that include recommendations, and instructions for proposed implementations
  • Experience in highly regulated industries and handling sensitive data is a plus
  • Experience with popular EA frameworks such as TOGAF, Zachman and adapting them to the needs of the organization is a plus
  • Experience in working with Technology Vendors, and integration partners from defining technical requirements to ensuring proper implementation per the architecture and design
  • Ability to create necessary documents artifacts to capture and communicate technical requirements, architecture, design, and decisions within and across teams
  • Experience across various architectures including Microservices and Event-Driven Architectures, Domain Driven Design
  • Experience in large digital transformations, legacy-to-cloud migration, and transformations is a plus
  • Experience in working with business platforms such as D365, Salesforce, and HRMS systems is a plus
  • Experience in working with container orchestration (Kubernetes) and serverless containers (Knative) is a plus.


Qualifications:
  • BA/BS/Btech/BE in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in area of data management and/or data curation.
  • 5+ years development experience with Oracle and/or SQL Server.
  • 5+ years of Experience with Python/Pyspark frameworks/libraries.
  • Expert-level understanding of Databricks Workspaces, Delta Lake, Databricks SQL, Unity Catalog, and integration with cloud-native services (e.g., AWS S3, Azure Data Lake Storage).
  • Expert level hands on experience on any public cloud AWS or Azure.
  • Deep knowledge of Delta Lake architecture and Databricks SQL for managing structured and semi-structured data.
  • Ability to develop, implement and optimize code using procedural languages such as PL/SQL, T-SQL, etc..
  • Experienced with SSIS and C# development
  • Experienced with data normalization and denormalization techniques
  • Experienced in implementing largescale event based streaming architectures
  • Experienced data transformation and data processing techniques
  • Knowledge of API and Microservice development
  • Experienced in Agile methodology and/or pair programming
  • Preferred knowledge of AI/ML concepts and technologies
  • Preferred experience with Stream-processing systems
  • Strong English verbal and written communication skills
  • Experienced in working with cross functional teams, building alignment and collaboration
  • Preferred certification Databricks Certified Data Engineer Associate/Professional
