One-on-One Student Aide

5 days per week

 

March 3, 2026

Position Detail:

·         One position available for the 2025-2026 school year at the JH/Sr. High School

·         Monday - Friday (9:00 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.)

·         Working one-on-one with a special needs student.

·         Supervising student in the classroom, as needed.

·         Assisting teacher with instruction.

 

Qualifications – Preferred one of the following:

·         Successful completion of 60 college credits

·         Graduate with an Associate’s degree from a university or college OR

·         Demonstrate knowledge of reading, writing, and math by successful completion of the ACT WorkKeys or ParaPro Assessment

 

      Skills and Experience

·         Experience working with children, particularly special needs.

·         Patience, flexibility, and adaptability

·         Educational coursework is preferred

 

This is a school calendar year temporary position, as needed.

Position to be re-evaluated throughout the year and at the conclusion of the school year.
