Compensation ranges from $26 - $32 per hour.

Shift is primarily on first, but flexibility required.

What You’ll Do:

  • Maintain OSHA-required programs and documentation (LOTO, machine guarding, PIT, confined space, hot work, hazard communication/SDS, bloodborne pathogens if applicable).
  • Conduct routine floor walks, behavior-based observations, and risk assessments (JSA/JHA).

Training & Engagement

  • Deliver onboarding safety training and recurring refreshers; maintain training records.
  • Lead Safety Committee meetings and toolbox talks; promote near-miss reporting and employee engagement.

Incident & Corrective Action Management

  • Lead incident response, investigations, root cause analyses, and corrective actions; ensure timely closure and lessons learned sharing.
  • Manage Return-to-Work/Workers’ Compensation case coordination with HR as needed.

Compliance & Audits

  • Maintain OSHA logs, inspection checklists, and permit-to-work controls.
  • Support environmental compliance tasks (waste accumulation areas, universal waste, SPCC, stormwater BMPs) per site scope.
  • Provide data for regulatory reporting (e.g., OSHA logs, Tier II/SARA Title III, hazardous waste manifests, air/water permits, stormwater/SPCC where applicable).
  • Prepare for internal/external audits, close findings promptly.

Emergency Preparedness

  • Keep Emergency Action Plan current; conduct drills; coordinate first aid/CPR training and equipment checks.

Reporting & Collaboration

  • Report KPIs and issues to the HSE Manager and Site/Plant Manager.
  • Support contractor safety onboarding and oversight.

What You Bring:

  • Some relevant experience and/or education in a similar field preferred.
  • Manufacturing experience required.
  • OSHA certification a plus.

What We Offer:

  • Competitive compensation with performance-based incentives and retirement savings plans with company match
  • Customizable group benefits including health, dental, life, disability, and travel insurance
  • Paid time off
  • Career development opportunities
  • A dynamic, inclusive work environment where your voice matters and your growth is supported
