What are your contributions to the team?
- Identifies and implements areas for improvement through automation and process improvements
- Develops and implements detail program specifications and logic flow charts for use in coding and documenting the system’s software programs
- Designs enhancements to current systems and facilitate the installation and integration of new systems
- Provides technical solutions to a wide range of difficult problems
- Organizes and presents formal technical reviews
- Writes and edits Methods documents (i.e. Methods Manual or technical bulletins to include new software applications, processes, and/or procedures)
- Acts as systems focal
- Leads teams through data modeling
- Develops complex database applications resulting in highly integrated systems that can be used across the Learjet site by multiple business units
- Develops technical solutions to complex problems that require regular use of ingenuity and creativity
- Keeps customers and management informed of program progress and critical issues
How to thrive in this role?
- Typically 8+ years’ experience in software development, programming, database implementation
- Typically 5+ years experience in Industrial Engineering
- Working knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and/or Six Sigma principles and practices
- Thorough knowledge of Oracle APEX, Java, C++, Dreamweaver (or equivalent)
- Thorough knowledge of Engineering technical principles, theories and concepts
- Thorough knowledge of MS Office and MS Project
- Thorough communication skills
