REQUIREMENTS FOR ALL COACHES (once selected):
- NFHS Fundamentals of Coaching & the CA State Component
- Concussion Certificate
- Sudden Cardiac Arrest Certificate
- Valid CPR Certificate
- Valid First Aid Certificate
- Heat Acclimatization Certificate
- TB test
- Guidelines for the Workplace & Youth Sports Protocol & Recommendations (link will be provided)
- Mandated Reporter (Child Abuse Certificate)
- Fingerprint clearance (once hired, the applicant will receive an appointment from Human Resources for the fingerprint process)

Prior softball coaching experience at the high school level or higher is preferred, though qualified candidates with comparable experience are encouraged to apply.

Salary determined by years of previous, verified, paid coaching experience in any sport in a school of junior high level and above.
