Job Description
You will be the Manufacturing Engineer - Level 2 for the F‑16 Mate team which is responsible for supporting all phases of the F‑16 platform’s manufacturing plan, production stand‑up, and post‑delivery sustainment.
What You Will Be Doing
As the Manufacturing Engineer - Level 2 you will be responsible for integrating engineering, shop‑floor, and quality inputs to ensure efficient aircraft production.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Develop and maintain detailed manufacturing plans and process documentation for the F‑16 platform.
- Collaborate with shop‑floor personnel, design engineering, quality, and industrial engineering to resolve production issues.
- Support corrective‑action initiatives and continuous‑improvement projects on the production line.
- Assist in the planning and execution of post‑delivery sustainment and modification activities.
- Provide technical guidance and training to operators to improve process reliability and safety.

Basic Qualifications
Experience in an Operations role with hands-on applications of engineering and manufacturing principles
Experience working process improvement and corrective action efforts
Experience interpreting Engineering drawings, specifications,
and manufacturability
Desired skills

Previous manufacturing/operations experience (2 to 5
years)
Experience with Computer Aided Design (CAD)
modeling
Experience with manufacturing tooling design and
fabrication
Understanding and demonstrated application of

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
