Position Purpose:

| The Recruiter is responsible for the full recruitment cycle while providing the highest level of recruitment service to hiring managers. The Recruiter will guide the hiring manager in forecast of staffing needs, developing candidate pipelines, sourcing, marketing and attracting talent that will foster the mission of the organization. The Recruiter screens, interviews and selects candidates to move through the recruitment process. Collaborates with hiring managers and selects the top candidate for further on-site visits at the facility level. Extends offers ensuring that all regulatory requirements are met while creating a positive experience for the new hire. Maintains excellent candidate and hiring manager relations by delivering a well-qualified and diverse pool of internal and external applicants while achieving staffing objectives. Assists with development of recruitment strategies designed to attract, hire, and retain qualified employees with special emphasis on high volume or hard-to-fill positions. |
Key Responsibilities [List of material responsibilities and essentials duties which must be completed in achieving the objectives of the position]
· Develops strategy to acquire talent to assure vacancies are kept to facility specified levels. · Understands and articulates the business line to market positions to potential candidates. · Uses an intake process with hiring managers, develops a recruitment plan and abides to service level agreements. · Sources and recruits passive candidates to develop pipelines. · Uses interviews, resume, and credential review to determine candidates who meet minimum. knowledge, skills, and abilities for the position. · Prepares salary, offers and receives approval of the hiring managers. · Prepares and extends the job offer, sign on bonuses, seasonal agreement, and relocation agreements along with pre-employment screenings. · Conducts primary source verification for education, licensure and certifications. · Maintains knowledge of benefit plans, incentives and facility policies and addresses applicant inquiries. · Maintains accurate and timely documentation of candidate progress in applicant tracking system. · Must possess exceptional communication and relationship building skills to develop a valued rapport with the candidate and hiring managers. · Ability to work independently and cooperatively with employees and leadership at all levels of the organization. · Ability to function effectively in a fast-paced environment with multiple demands and deadlines. · Requires flexible schedule and ability to coordinate several activities simultaneously. · Provides accurate correspondence to managers regarding recruitment and employment needs, candidate status, and other documentation. · Participates in and/or conducts recruitment ventures such as open houses, conventions, career days and other events designed to attract professional candidates to KHI. · Sources passive candidates and maintains candidate pipelines. · Assists managers in negotiating starting salaries according to compensation guidelines. Makes job offers on behalf of KHI and arranges pre- and post-employment screenings. Meets regularly with leadership to provide updates, develop strategies, analyze metrics, and receive direction. · Evaluates trends in recruitment and the job market to recommend recruitment strategies. Stays abreast of current recruiting trends and develops appropriate recruitment plans accordingly, working closely with the leadership. Attends ongoing educational opportunities as needed and involves all Human Resources staff in recruitment education. · Prepares advertisements and develops recruiting contacts with agencies and placement offices. Maintains current and diverse contacts with a multitude of advertising agencies and advertises in media relevant to open positions. Maintains integrity and accuracy of KHI website regarding job openings and opportunities. Maintains a report or spread sheet of current advertisements; including type of ad, placement site, and cost. Additionally, tracks which ads attract contact from potential candidates and are most effective. · Meets regularly with leadership to provide updates, develop strategies, analyze metrics, and receive direction. · Assumes other HR and recruitment duties as necessary. |

Education: Associates degree OR 2 years of equivalent experience in Human Resources Experience: One (1) year of experience in a customer service/office setting Skills and Knowledge: · Excellent organizational skills including the ability to prioritize office workload and resolve problems; keen attention to detail. · Strong understanding and ability to recruit for all levels of the organization from entry level to corporate staff. Ability to communicate and relate effectively with all types of people, including management, candidates, and vendors. · Knowledge of and the ability to use applicant tracking systems with a high degree of proficiency. · Ability to exercise discretion and independent judgment. · Ability to operate personal computer, including software necessary for spreadsheet design and database applications. · Ability to follow oral and/or written instructions, work within established deadlines and in pressure situations. Ability to make mathematical computations accurately. · Available to travel great distances for short periods of time. · |

Education: College degree in Human Resources or Business Management Certifications/Licensure: HRCI, SHRM and/or AIRS PRC certification(s) preferred. Experience: · Five years of Staffing/Recruitment experience preferred. · Experience in a hospital or healthcare environment is preferred. |
