Job Summary
We have an opening for a Senior Quality Systems Engineer in our Quality Engineering Department! This individual will provide technical support to our team and be a resource on all QMS and EMS questions and concerns. The Senior Quality Systems Engineer is responsible for supporting and executing all activities concerned with the development, review, implementation and maintenance of procedures and quality standards for manufacturing processes, materials, and systems.
Responsibilities:
Performs internal, customer, and supplier audits
Demonstrates competency in developing and implementing policies and procedures (ISO, IATF, AS, etc.)
Performs document control, creates training documents, and ensures good documentation practices are followed
Reviews and updates documentation for QMS and EMS systems, and reviews customer satisfaction reporting
Assists with material review board activities, corrective action review meetings, management reviews, and monthly management reports
Assist Quality Management with key continuous improvement initiatives
Maintains knowledge on all government regulations
Verifies that the quality department is meeting key metrics
Issues quality reports to upper management on a regular basis
Ensures that suppliers continue to meet quality standards set by the company
Assists other departments (companywide) with Quality Management Systems and Environmental Management Systems inquiries, initiatives and improvements
Other duties as needed and assigned
