The DoubleTree by Hilton New Orleans Airport is looking for a dedicated Housekeeping Inspector to ensure our guest rooms meet the highest standards of cleanliness and comfort. As an Inspector, you are the final set of eyes on every room before a guest walks through the door. What You’ll Be Doing

• The Standard: Conducting thorough inspections of guest rooms, hallways, and public areas to ensure they meet Hilton’s "CleanStay" and brand standards.
• The Leadership: Coaching and mentoring Room Attendants on cleaning techniques, efficiency, and attention to detail.
• The Inventory: Assisting with linen counts, supply inventory, and reporting any maintenance issues (leaks, broken lights, etc.) immediately to the engineering team.
• The Readiness: Working closely with the Front Desk to prioritize "rush" rooms for arriving guests.

Working Conditions & Physical Demands

• High Activity: This is a physically active role. You will be walking, standing, bending, and kneeling for the duration of an 8-hour shift.
• Physical Effort: Ability to lift or move up to 30 lbs and push heavy housekeeping carts when necessary.
• Stairs & Movement: Frequent walking through large hallways and moving between floors throughout the day.
• Environment: Exposure to cleaning chemicals and varied temperatures while moving through the property.

What We’re Looking For

• Experience: Previous experience in hotel housekeeping is required. Previous experience as an Inspector or Lead is a major plus!
• Detail-Oriented: You notice the things others miss—from a stray hair to a smudge on a mirror.
• Reliability: Our guests count on us, so we need to count on you. Punctuality is a must.
• Professionalism: A positive attitude and the ability to give constructive feedback to the team in a respectful way.
