    For those still in the process of attaining certification, please know that the North Plainfield School District is approved for participation in the NJDOE Limited Certificate Program, which may allow you to work in a full-time role as you complete your final certification requirements. 

    Qualifications: 

    • New Jersey Certification as a Teacher of Spanish (K�12) (required)
    • Bilingual (English and Spanish) speaker required
    • Strong knowledge of the New Jersey Student Learning Standards (NJSLS) and the World Language Standards Knowledge of proficiency-based instruction aligned to national and state World Language frameworks (e.g., ACTFL)
    • Data-informed instruction � ability to analyze student data to drive instructional decisions and support student growth
    • Collaborative mindset � ability to work effectively with colleagues to support student success
    • Instructional expertise � proficiency in lesson planning, classroom management, curriculum development, assessment, and the use of diverse instructional resources
    • Growth mindset � commitment to ongoing professional development and instructional improvement 

    Salary: $69,630 (minimum) to $103,470 (maximum) commensurate with experience
