General Description:

CCI Industrial Services is seeking a dynamic individual to fill the position of Safety Specialist supporting the Lower 48.

Essential Duties & Job Functions:

  • Inspect and evaluate the work area in accordance with plans, specifications, and contract documents, reporting deficiencies as appropriate and elevating issues as needed to ensure safe work practices and quality outcomes
  • Implement and maintain company and job specific safety programs.
  • Perform routine job site safety inspections and work with field supervision to ensure safe job sites and working conditions. Report if corrective actions are required
  • Responsible for being involved with investigations and communications with Management.
  • Facilitate client risk assessment processes for company projects.
  • Be a Safety Leader! Ensure the resources and commitment to HSE is of top priority for all employees within the company.
  • Maintain 100% “Safety Standards and Accountability” in all areas or mandatory/regulatory requirements, which include:
    • Maintain compliance with the required HSE Training.
    • Taking necessary action when behaviors or conditions around you may be unsafe.
    • Reporting and addressing all potential safety concerns/incidents/issues promptly and willingly participate and assist in any investigation that may relate to a safety incident.
    • Performs work in strict compliance with permitting requirements, Alaska Safety Handbook (ASH) Standards and other compliance-oriented directives.
    • Participating in safety meetings, working safely, and maintaining a safe work environment as an employee and representative of CCI Industrial Services.
    • Document and record any injury or near miss incident that may occur while you are working.
    • Demonstrate and promote safe work practices by participating in JSA reviews, pre-job walkdowns and safety START card preparations covering work activities and materials required by the company and the client.
    • Promote and participate in Safety Programs.

  • Proficient in Excel, Project, and other Microsoft programs
