Job Description

Location: Frisco, Colorado

Copper Mountain Resort is a vacation destination located 75 miles west of Denver, Colorado in the heart of the Rocky Mountains. Job Title: Summer 2026: Snowcat Track Technician 

Job Status: Seasonal

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Compensation: Proposed hiring rate of $20.00 to $21.50+, actual pay will be adjusted based on experience.

  • Benefits: This is a seasonal position eligible for season pass for employees/dependents and privileges at several other resorts. Several discount programs (i.e. food & beverage, retail/rental, tickets, etc.) also available. 

Job Summary:

To assist while learning and performing snowcat track repairs. To also assist VM techs in making a clean and safe workplace.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for rebuilding & repair of snowcat tracks.

  • Administration Duties: Accountable for accurate and precise recording of daily activities on work orders, indirect labor log, parts requisitions to be used on the evaluation and administration portion of the department operation.

  • Maintain cleaning stations and shop duties as needed.

  • All other duties assigned.

Basic Requirements:

  • Must be at least 18 years old

  • Must be able to lift and carry items up to 50 lbs.

  • Must have a valid US Driver’s License

Preferred Experience and Special Skills:

  • Must have high school diploma. 

  • Ski area or vehicle maintenance operations experience is desirable. 

  • Experience with basic hand and power tools.
