4th BDE JROTC Instructor Hire Process -

  • All interested applicants are advised to visit the US Army JROTC website to answer common questions about the Employment, Application and Certification process: https://usarmyjrotc.army.mil/application-certification-2/. The site is owned by US Army Cadet Command (USACC). Applicant MUST follow the instructions and links provided within the website.
  • USACC JROTC Instructor Management Division (IMD) conducts a review of all submissions and determines when application requirements are complete. The applicant receives RFIs (request for info) and updates about the process via the email provided at the beginning of the application process.
  • USACC JROTC IMD must advise the applicant when to obtain a Certification Interview. The applicant will contact an assigned POC from the List of Certified Interviewers provided via the website and coordinate the interview. (This is a requirement for the JROTC Application. It is NOT a job interview for the school.)
  • Results of the Certified Interview must be emailed directly from the Interviewer to USACC JROTC IMD team to finalize the application process.
  • The Initial Phase of the application process is complete when applicant receives a "Pre-qualification Memo." This memo confirms the applicant is eligible to be hired as a JROTC Instructor.
  • Eligible applicants MUST visit the JROTC Website to locate current instructor vacancies and contact the POC listed for the vacancy: https://usarmyjrotc.army.mil/instructor-positions/
