About the role
Based in Auckland, our new Account Manager will manage
and develop an assigned group of customers and potential customers to drive
sales growth.

Responsibilities include:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships within your portfolio of customers
  • Develop and deliver targeted customer account strategies to achieve sales targets and objectives within assigned territory
  • Conduct face-to-face meetings with customers to understand their needs, present product offering and negotiate sales agreements
  • Identify, maintain and actively manage new opportunities to deliver sustainable growth through opportunity management platforms on Sales Force
  • Management of customer forecasts in timely manner to support demand planning
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities and customer feedback to identify opportunities for business growth
  • Maintain appropriate pricing to customers in line with company and business unit goals
  • Assist with budget and business planning
  • Prepare and submit tenders
  • Assist in investigating and resolving customer concerns
  • Maintaining detailed records of customer interactions and sales activities within Sales Force

About you
Qualification- Relevant tertiary qualifications or certification or
experience in the industry.

Experience- Proven track record of success in a sales role within the
industry, with good negotiation and closing skills. Proficient in using sales
and customer relationship management (CRM) tools

Well-developed communication skills – Possess strong interpersonal, negotiation and relationship
management skills to support building
relationships across all levels within IMCD and with our customer and supplier
network. You should be proficient in using Microsoft office and be comfortable
presenting in front of customers.
