$6800 Sign-on Bonus for the right hire!


We are seeking a motivated and experienced Electrician to join our electrical services division. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems for residential and light commercial customers. This is a hands-on role that requires strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to high-quality service. 5+ years experience required, with Journeyman licensing preferred or possessing the requirements to test. Sign-on bonus consideration for hires already possessing a Buffalo Journeyman's LIcense.




Advertised pay is just the base hourly rate, based on experience and licensing; all levels receive bonus pay. Standard hours are Monday - Friday, 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM.


Key Tasks


  • Deliver expert service – Troubleshoot and repair electrical issues; present multiple repair/replace options and close approved work.
  • Build customer rapport – Communicate clearly, set expectations, and earn 5-star reviews & referrals.
  • Coordinate with the team – Stay in contact with Dispatch and the Electrical Service Manager; update job statuses in real time.
  • Care for company assets – Keep vehicle, tools, and inventory clean, safe, and well-organized.
  • Follow all documentation procedures – Complete digital invoices, option sheets, and timecards accurately and on time.
  • Rotate on-call – Share after-hours coverage as scheduled, responding to emergencies professionally.
  • Embrace training & coaching – Attend morning huddles, technical labs, and Nexstar® courses; mentor apprentices when assigned.
  • Uphold safety & compliance – Apply NEC, local codes, and company safety policies on every job.


Technical Skills and Certifications


  • Valid New York State Residential or Journeyman Electrician License (or ability to obtain within 90 days).
  • Strong working knowledge of NEC and local codes; ability to read wiring diagrams and trace circuits.
  • OSHA-10 Construction Industry card
  • Proficiency with multimeters, branch-circuit troubleshooting, panel replacements, GFCI/AFCI protection, and smart-home integrations.
  • Competence with iPad/iPhone workflow apps, and basic MS Office/Google Workspace tools.
  • ServieTitan experience is a plus


Physical Requirements


  • Lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
  • Climb ladders, work in attics/crawlspaces, kneel, and stand for extended periods.
  • Comfortable working in all residential environments and occasional outdoor weather conditions.
