GENERAL FUNCTION

 

The Installation Manager provides strategic leadership for Department 430, overseeing daily operations and directing a team of Regional Managers to ensure peak performance. This role is central to the project lifecycle, requiring a rigorous commitment to contract integrity and the delivery of high-quality integrations that consistently exceed customer expectations. By balancing technical compliance with local and national codes against departmental profitability, the Manager ensures every project is both a technical and financial success


Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for Department 430, ensuring clear and consistent communication across stakeholders
  • Lead and manage Regional Managers, overseeing daily operations and departmental performance
  • Lead and manage Project Coordinators, overseeing daily operations and scheduling performance
  • Ensure all contractual obligations, deadlines, and deliverables are met in alignment with project requirements
  • Develop and maintain accurate revenue forecasts and oversee revenue recognition processes
  • Monitor subcontractor performance to ensure quality standards, compliance, and contractual expectations are consistently achieved
  • Compile and deliver comprehensive project status reports to the Director of Field Operations
  • Partner with Sales, Design, Contracts, & Fulfillment teams to support proper product application and project execution
  • Identify and drive process improvements to enhance efficiency, quality, and overall performance
  • Establish clear goals, performance expectations, and accountability standards for Department 430
  • Perform additional duties as assigned

Qualifications

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

  • High School Diploma/GED plus 5+ years of relevant industry experience.Bachelor’s degree in business, Accounting, Law, or a related field; OR
  • Associate’s degree in a related field plus 3+ years of relevant experience; OR
  • High School Diploma/GED plus 5+ years of relevant industry experience.
  • A foundational understanding of industry-specific codes and standards, including NEC, NFPA, UL, MIL-Spec, Davis-Bacon Act, and JFAN.
  • Minimum of 5 years of project management experience within the security, electrical, or service industries, with a proven track record in resource scheduling and detailed project documentation.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to deliver professional presentations to diverse stakeholders.
  • A strong service-oriented mindset with a natural ability to build and maintain positive client relationships.
  • Highly organized with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple complex projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.
  • Advanced skills in the Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
  • Proven ability to perform effectively under pressure and navigate time-sensitive constraints with a solutions-oriented approach.
  • This position reports directly to the Director of Field Operations.

CLEARANCE:

  • Must be able to obtain Secret personnel clearance.
