Heavy Truck Diesel Mechanic


We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Heavy Truck Diesel Mechanic to join our maintenance team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining heavy-duty diesel trucks to ensure optimal performance and safety on the road.


Key Responsibilities:


- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues in heavy-duty diesel trucks

- Perform routine maintenance such as oil changes, brake inspections, and tire rotations

- Read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and diagnostic tools

- Maintain accurate records of repairs, parts used, and maintenance activities

- Ensure compliance with safety standards and environmental regulations

- Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot complex problems and improve repair processes

- Order and manage parts inventory to ensure timely repairs and minimize downtime


Skills and Qualifications:


- Proven experience as a Heavy Truck Diesel Mechanic or similar role

- Strong knowledge of diesel engine systems, transmissions, brakes, and electrical components

- Ability to use diagnostic tools and computerized testing equipment

- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

- Valid driver’s license and relevant certifications (e.g., ASE certification preferred)

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment

- Good communication skills and a commitment to safety and quality standards
