Marketing Executive - Uniworld

About the role

Reporting to the Marketing Manager, this role supports the planning, creation and delivery of marketing activity that drives brand awareness, engagement and conversion across Uniworld's channels. You'll work across trade and consumer marketing — executing campaigns, content and communications that inspire meaningful connections with some of the world's most extraordinary destinations.

Key responsibilities

  • Trade Marketing
    • Develop and implement trade marketing plans and identify opportunities to maximise marketing ROI
    • Support day-to-day relationships with marketing and commercial contacts at preferred retail partners
    • Manage trade campaigns end-to-end: planning, copywriting, artwork and communication with sales
    • Produce flyers, brochures and leaflets for agency partners and the sales team
    • Identify and manage opportunities to promote the Uniworld University learning and development hub
    •  Coordinate local area marketing requests in conjunction with Sales Managers
  • Consumer Marketing
    • Develop and execute consumer and digital marketing plans and campaigns
    • Drive email marketing communications with monthly performance reporting
    • Support the creation of marketing collateral and promotional assets
    • Liaise with the graphic designer throughout the production process
    • Develop and support events in conjunction with the Sales team
    • Support brochure production, print and distribution — including localising US brochures for the Australian and New Zealand markets
  • Marketing Operations
    • Support monthly marketing reporting and contribution to the brand board report
    • Review campaign performance with lessons learned and continuous improvement 
    • Maintain and track the marketing budget across all campaign activity
    • Conduct competitor analysis on promotions and marketing campaigns
    • Contribute to the maintenance of the Uniworld website

    • Minimum 3 years of relevant marketing experience
    • Strong background in campaign planning and delivery
    • Excellent copywriting and communication skills
    • High attention to detail and commitment to quality
    • Ability to build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders
    • A positive, can-do attitude and eagerness to learn
  • Desirable
    • Experience working with a luxury travel brand
    • Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite
    • Experience with Salesforce and Marketing Cloud
    • Working knowledge of Google Analytics
