Job Summary
As a Quality Control Technician, you will play an essential role in ensuring that all devices leaving our workshop meet the company’s standards for quality and performance. You will be responsible for testing, validating, and verifying that devices are fully functional and ready for deployment to our school clients.
This is a seasonal, in-shop position supporting large-scale projects for K–12 educational environments. This role is not customer-facing, allowing you to focus on technical quality checks and internal processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform post-repair and post-configuration quality control checks on devices
- Test devices to ensure proper functionality, performance, and readiness for deployment
- Utilize diagnostic tools and software to identify and resolve hardware and software issues
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of quality checks, repairs, and identified issues
- Ensure all devices meet company quality standards before leaving the workshop
- Balance speed and accuracy to meet production targets without compromising quality
- Follow standard operating procedures and testing guidelines
- Maintain an organized and efficient workspace
Work Environment
- In-Shop Role: This position is fully based within the workshop (no field work)
- Non-Customer Facing: Focused on internal quality processes with minimal external interaction
- Team-Oriented Environment: Work closely with technicians and supervisors
- Additional: Overtime may be offered as needed
Qualifications
We are looking for individuals who are detail-oriented, reliable, and focused on accuracy and efficiency.
Basic Qualifications:
- Basic technical knowledge and ability to operate computers and perform data entry
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow testing procedures
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks with consistency and accuracy
- Ability to pass a background check
- Legal right to work in the United States
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of hardware diagnostics and troubleshooting
- Interest in IT, electronics, or quality assurance processes
Work Schedule
- Shift: 8-hour shift
- Time: 8:00AM- 4:30PM
- Days: Monday to Friday
- Additional: Overtime may be offered based on business needs
