Job Description – Business Analyst (CRAVES Deployment Project)
Client: Service New Brunswick (SNB)
Project: CAMA Renewal and Valuation Enhancements Solution (CRAVES)
Duration: May 2026 – March 2028 (+ possible extension)
Work Type: Full-time | Remote (Canada-based resource required)

Role Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced Business Analyst to support the CRAVES Deployment Project, a large-scale digital transformation initiative replacing legacy systems with a modern SaaS-based CAMA platform.

The resource will work closely with business stakeholders, technical teams, and project leadership to ensure accurate requirements definition, solution alignment, and successful delivery of project outcomes.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead end-to-end business analysis activities, including requirement elicitation, validation, and documentation.
  • Conduct stakeholder workshops, interviews, and discovery sessions to gather business and system requirements.
  • Develop and maintain Requirement Traceability Matrix (RTM) throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Perform current-state and future-state analysis, especially for COTS/SaaS implementations.
  • Translate business needs into technical requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
  • Support product backlog creation and management in Agile environments.
  • Create process flows, business process models, and visual diagrams.
  • Collaborate with SaaS vendors and internal teams on integration requirements.
  • Support UAT planning, test case development, and execution oversight.
  • Assist with risk analysis, stakeholder communication, and project documentation.
  • Contribute to change management, training materials, and communication strategies.

Mandatory Requirements (M1–M6)
M1 – Education & Experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree required.
  • Minimum 6+ years of Business Analyst experience in multi-year technical projects.
M2 – Core Business Analysis Expertise
  • Minimum 6 years of hands-on Business Systems Analysis experience, including:
    • Requirement gathering & documentation
    • Requirement Traceability Matrix (RTM) management
    • Technical solution and design analysis
    • Product backlog creation
    • User stories and acceptance criteria
  • Experience across at least 3 projects in the last 10 years.
M3 – CAMA Domain Experience
  • Minimum 1 year (within last 2 years) working as a Business Analyst on:
    • Property Assessment / CAMA projects
    • Government or service delivery environments
    • Integration requirements with CAMA solutions
M4 – Process Modeling & Documentation
  • Minimum 6 years of experience creating:
    • Business process documents
    • Visual diagrams showing relationships between business functions
M5 – Submission Compliance
  • Only 1 candidate submission per vendor permitted.
M6 – Documentation Compliance
  • Submission must include:
    • Max 3 pages Vendor Response Matrix
    • Max 3 pages Resume
  • Non-compliance will result in disqualification.

Scored Requirement (S1 – High Priority)
S1 – COTS & Enterprise Analysis Experience
  • Minimum 6 years of hands-on experience in:
    • Requirement gathering
    • Current-state and future-state analysis
    • Working with Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS) solutions
    • Delivery within large enterprise-level projects

Additional Preferred Qualifications (Nice-to-Have)
  • Experience documenting system requirements and integration workflows
  • Certification such as CBAP, PMI-PBA
  • Experience in SaaS implementations with large-scale business transformation

Work Environment
  • Remote (must reside in Canada)
  • Work hours aligned with AST (8:15 AM – 4:30 PM)
