Located on the edge of Raindance in Windsor, Colorado, Ted's Backyard is the newest restaurant to open in Water Valley. We are focused on providing the Raindance community and the surrounding areas a family friendly restaurant with warm hospitality.

Our Menu is focused on smash burgers and pizza. Our Chef has created a fabulous menu with many items made from scratch in-house.

Who You Are:

The primary responsibility of a Server Assistant is to deliver food, make salads and desserts, and milkshakes while assisting with Concessions during service. Remove used dishes, glassware, and silverware from the tables. Secondary responsibilities include proper maintenance and cleaning of side stations, floors, furniture, restrooms, and perform other duties as assigned. Although the Server Assistant typically works in the dining room assisting Concessions, there are times when a Server Assistant may be assigned to the bar to assist in the Taproom. This role requires a professional demeanor, excellent communication skills, and a desire to expand your food & beverage curiosity. We will provide opportunities to grow within your role, our venue, and the industry we call home

Essential Job Duties:

· Provide exceptional hospitality to guests and coworkers

· Deliver food promptly and accurately

· Assist Concessions with customer needs

· Help maintain cleanliness throughout the restaurant. Including restrooms, floors, tables, bar, and server stations

· Clear used and/or unneeded dishes and glassware from guests, tables, and any other surfaces

· Respond to all guests' requests, comments, and concerns

· Greet guests as needed

· Monitor guest satisfaction and promptly address any concerns

· Anticipate guest needs and provide personalized service

· Assist with special requests and dietary requirements

· Work closely with kitchen staff and other servers to ensure seamless service

· Participate in team meetings and training sessions

· Other duties as assigned

Skills / Knowledge Required: 

· Willingness to learn and attend supplemental staff trainings

· Must be a team player

· A positive and hardworking personality is essential

· One year of restaurant experience preferred

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

· Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

· Attention to detail and a commitment to hospitality

· Professional appearance and demeanor

· Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays

· Able to work in a standing position for long periods of time

· Able to reach and bend routinely and frequently lift up to 30 pounds.
