Job Description

Overview :



  1. Responsible for the safety and security of a company's assets, employees, and facilities.                                                                                                                                  

  2. This role involves implementing security policies and procedures, managing security systems, conducting investigations, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.                                                                                                                                

  3. Play a key role in emergency response and crisis management.


Accounbilities :



  1. Monitor and ensure plant operation and security management are consistent with Company security policies and procedures. Conduct periodic reviews on security policies, procedures and mitigation solutions.                 

  2. Overseeing and maintaining security systems like CCTV, access control (VMS & Biometrics), Guard Tour and fire alarm systems.     

  3. Monitoring daily security operations, including VMS access control and prohibited items check points, patrolling, and surveillance.   Report any abnomality to superior immediately and resolve the problem within the timeline.     

  4. Investigating security incidents, handling complaints, and taking appropriate action. Overseeing investigations into security breaches or incidents                                                       

  5. Identify, develop and maintain crisis or incident management i.e. Emergency Response, Building Evacuation procedures          

  6. Ensuring compliance with all relevant safety and security regulations.      

  7. Conducting security briefings to all security personnels / visitors / employees as when needed.  Conduct induction training for new employees as per onboarding schedule.              

  8. Assist in cooperation with third parties such as PDRM, BOMBA and any government agencies.          

  9. Safeguarding company assets, including physical property and information.                 

  10. Managing security budgets     

  11. Constant monitoring to ensure proper filing of security records and documents  

  12. Handle ad hoc relevant tasks given by security or other departments


Requirement :



  1. Min Diploma in any field is required

  2. Minimum 5 years of work experience in the Security industry

  3. Possess a valid driving license (B2 and D)

  4. leadership and management skills     

  5. communication and interpersonal skills                                             

  6. In-depth knowledge of security principles and practices 

  7. Experience with security systems and technologies  

  8. Ability to handle stressful situations and make sound decisions

  9. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills 

  10. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
