Description

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Certified Medication Aide (CMA) to join our RehabLiving at The Meadows team. In this role, you will be responsible for administering medications to residents in a safe, accurate, and timely manner while providing compassionate care and support. You will work closely with nursing staff to ensure the health and well-being of our residents.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Administer prescribed medications to residents following established protocols
  • Accurately document medication administration and report any discrepancies
  • Observe residents for reactions or side effects and report concerns promptly
  • Assist residents with daily living activities as needed
  • Maintain medication carts, storage, and records in compliance with regulations
  • Communicate effectively with nurses, physicians, and other healthcare staff
  • Ensure a clean, safe, and respectful environment for residents

Requirements

  • Current Certified Medication Aide (CMA) and Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) certification in Texas
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in long-term care or skilled nursing preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
