Job Summary:

Teach courses in Accounting, consistent with current developments in the discipline and teaching methods. Participate in program/department meetings and divisional/college-wide committees with a focus on continual improvement of programs and learning outcomes. Participate in curriculum and course development, course and program coordination, tutoring and advising students, mentoring and reviewing peers, and College initiatives. Must demonstrate a commitment to the diversity of a multi-cultural population, as well as work effectively in a team-based environment, seeking continuous improvement and adherence to the community college philosophy.


Regular on campus presence is expected for all LCC employment. Any flexible work schedules and/or hybrid work schedules approved by the College are subject to change based on the needs of the LCC community.

Required Qualifications:

Master’s Degree in discipline or subfield OR Master’s Degree or higher in related field with one of the following:
a) professional certification (CPA, CMA, CFE, CIA) or
b) 3 years professional experience in accounting

OR

Equivalent Experience: Bachelor’s Degree with professional certification (CPA, CMA, CFE, CIA) accompanied by 5 years’ experience at a senior management position.

College level teaching experience in accounting.






Preferred Qualifications:

Work-related experience in at least one of the following areas: Accounting Information Systems, Auditing, Governmental/Nonprofit Accounting, OR Data Analytics.

Community college level teaching experience.
