Saint Pius X Catholic School is looking for a House Substitute readily available to sub in grades Preschool-8th grade as an employee of Saint Pius X.

Teaching License is Preferred

REQUIREMENTS:

• Serve as a part-time in-house substitute teacher (approx. 28 hours per week) supporting classrooms from preschool through 8th grade

• Provide instructional coverage for absent teachers across multiple grade levels and subject areas

• Follow lesson plans and classroom procedures to ensure continuity of learning

• Adapt quickly to different classroom environments, age groups, and teaching styles

• Maintain a safe, positive, and productive learning environment for all students

• Supervise students and manage classroom behavior in accordance with school policies

• Communicate effectively with students, staff, and administration

• Assist with classroom activities, assignments, and daily routines as needed

• Demonstrate flexibility and availability, with schedule subject to change on short notice

• Support school operations by stepping into various roles as required throughout the day

• Uphold confidentiality and professionalism in all interactions

• Support and uphold the teachings, values, and mission of the Catholic faith in daily interactions and classroom environment

• Perform other duties as assigned by school administration

Teaching License- Preferred
