O’Brien® Glass is offering an exciting opportunity to join our Sydney Commercial (Heavy Vehicles) team as an Apprentice Windscreen Fitter. This is a hands‑on role where you’ll earn while you learn, gain a nationally recognised qualification, and build a long‑term career in the Automotive Glass industry.
About the Role
As an Apprentice Windscreen Fitter, you will:
Complete the O’Brien® Cert III in Automotive Glazing through our Auto Technician Skills Development Program
Learn to repair and replace glass on all types of motor vehicles to Australian standards
Perform windscreen re‑calibrations for Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS)
Carry out glass chip repairs
Deliver exceptional customer service
Work professionally, safely and efficiently as part of a supportive team
This is on‑the‑job learning with strong support from experienced Technicians and Management.
What We’re Looking For
Automotive industry experience (highly regarded)
Strong mechanical aptitude and confidence using hand tools
A positive attitude and willingness to learn
Excellent work ethic and reliability
Comfortable engaging with customers and promoting company products
Passion for delivering outstanding customer service
Must be able to drive both Automatic and Manual vehicles
Strong organisational and time‑management skills
Commitment to personal development and achieving results
