Summary
**This is a remote role**PM Pediatric Care is launching a centralized scheduling team to streamline provider scheduling across our 90+ urgent care locations in 12 states. This newly created Central Provider Scheduler role will be responsible for building, publishing, and maintaining provider shift schedules using our scheduling platform - QGenda. Working closely with clinical and operational leaders, the scheduler ensures efficient and accurate staffing coverage while helping standardize scheduling practices nationwide.
Description
- Build and maintain shift schedules for physicians and advanced practice providers (APPs) using QGenda
- Configure and apply scheduling rules, templates, and logic based on clinical requirements
- Manage and track provider availability, time-off requests, and shift changes
- Coordinate draft schedule reviews and incorporate feedback from leadership
- Publish finalized schedules and communicate updates to stakeholders
- Monitor and modify schedules to respond to last-minute changes or coverage needs
- Collaborate with managers to ensure coverage, resolve conflicts, and maintain compliance
- Support schedule-related reporting and analytics, including overtime, open shifts, and staffing gaps
- Help document and refine scheduling processes during pilot phase and beyond
- Serve as a QGenda super user and provide internal support/training to other staff members as needed.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of healthcare scheduling experience (provider scheduling strongly preferred)
- Experience with scheduling software — QGenda, Intrigma, Kronos, or similar
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Strong communication and collaboration skills across multiple departments
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, multi-state, enterprise healthcare environment
- Proficient in Excel, Google Sheets, or analytics tools for schedule tracking/reporting
- Ability to learn and optimize new systems and processes quickly
Preferred Qualifications:
- Background in urgent care, pediatrics, or outpatient clinical operations
- Familiarity with scheduling compliance, labor rules, and shift-based staffing models
- Experience supporting a remote or hybrid team
Work Environment & Conditions:
- Remote with regular virtual meetings and communication.
- Must have reliable internet access and a private workspace if remote.
