JOB DESCRIPTION  

Summary/Objective: The SHIPPING COORDINATOR position compiles and maintains information to expedite movement of material and parts between production areas by performing the following duties.

  • Scheduling and coordinating all shipping/receiving of products and samples to and from customers and other Arcadia Inc. facilities.
  • Filing and organizing project related paperwork.
  • Liaising with our credit department to ensure that customers' accounts are in good standing and that all required preliminary lien information has been received prior to orders shipping.
  • Sorting and distributing incoming mail.
  • Answering customer phone calls and emails regarding the status of orders and other general inquiries.
  • Ordering shop and office supplies.
  • Working within our ERP system to provide invoices and coordinating shipping / receiving of materials


Requirements & Competencies: 

Coordinating the shipping department with shipping employees and Forklift Operators in a fast-paced environment. Assist with all functions in the shipping department.

  • Provide Excellent Customer Service as needed (In-person and telephone customer service)
  • Basic Data Entry
  • Data Base Maintenance for Purchasing Department
  • Confirmation and follow up on Purchase Orders
  • Answering email in a timely fashion
  • Other assigned tasks as may be required.
  • Must be bilingual.
  • Microsoft Word and Excel are a must.
  • Strong organizational skills are essential to manage priorities and maintain efficiency.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Self-motivated with a proactive approach to tasks and problem-solving.
  • Comfortable adapting to evolving responsibilities and shifting priorities.
  • Thrives in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • High level of accuracy with keen attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Must be able to successfully pass a pre-employment drug screening.
