In this role, you’ll work under limited supervision to set up and operate a variety of CNC machines, ensuring that finished parts meet tight specifications and aerospace standards. Ideal candidates are independent problem-solvers who can handle complex machining tasks with minimal assistance. Mastercam experience is a plus.

2nd Shift positions have a 10% shift premium, paid lunch and Fridays off

Requirements
- Operate, set up, and maintain a variety of CNC machinery in a high-precision production environment
- Monitor and adjust machining processes to ensure parts meet exact specifications
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and sample parts
- Use precision measuring instruments to inspect finished components
- Perform deburring and other finishing tasks to ensure high-quality output
- Maintain accurate quality records and document all work in the ERP system
- Collaborate with supervisors, engineers, and quality control to troubleshoot and resolve machining issues
- Support and train junior machinists as needed
- Keep machines and work areas clean and in optimal working order
- Perform basic preventative maintenance on equipment
- Participate in ongoing improvement initiatives and provide feedback for process optimization
Skills & Experience
- Minimum 5 years of CNC machining experience
- Proficient in milling and turning operations, including setup and troubleshooting
- Advanced measurement and inspection capabilities using calipers, micrometers, etc.
- Strong understanding of tooling, materials (especially aerospace-grade), and machining processes
- Ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings and QC standards
- Experience with editing CNC programs and making on-the-fly adjustments
- Familiarity with CAM software and collaboration with engineering teams
- Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and commitment to safety
- ERP documentation experience preferred
