Job Description

Evozyne designs and builds engineered protein therapeutics using our AI-native platform, transforming what’s possible in immune-mediated disease treatment. Our scientists work at the intersection of biology, protein engineering, and AI to turn bold ideas into therapies that can meaningfully improve patients’ lives. This posting helps us connect with candidates for future opportunities. While this listing is not tied to a current opening, we encourage you to join our talent community so we can connect with you when new roles emerge!

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and execute experiments to discover and characterize protein-based therapeutic candidates for immunological targets

  • Develop, optimize, and interpret in vitro and cell-based assays to evaluate activity, mechanism, and selectivity

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with data science and computational teams to advance programs toward key milestones

  • Analyze complex datasets and translate findings into clear recommendations for next steps

  • Contribute to experimental strategy, study design, and troubleshooting to accelerate discovery timelines

  • Communicate results effectively in team meetings and written reports, supporting decision-making across projects

  • Stay current with emerging scientific literature and apply new approaches to strengthen our discovery platform

Who You Are

You thrive in an early-stage start-up environment and are motivated by the opportunity to build new medicines that can transform patients’ lives. You combine agility with scientific rigor to deliver high-quality results, and you bring natural curiosity and a collaborative mindset to solving complex challenges.

Background + Experience

  • Undergraduate and/or graduate level education focused on (molecular or cell) biology, protein sciences, immunology, biophysics, biochemistry, or a similar field.
  • Hands-on experience executing bench research in a scientific lab
  • Ability to analyze, interpret, and communicate experimental data
