Job Description

Job Title: Registered Behavior Technician
Job Location: Glen Allen, VA

We are seeking a compassionate and patient Registered Behavior Technician to join our team at New Patterns ABA, where every voice is heard as we work together to discover each individual's potential with compassionate, flexible, and collaborative in-home and community-based ABA therapy.

Responsibilities:

• Provide one-on-one behavioral therapy and support to individuals with autism and other developmental disabilities in-home and community-based settings
• Implement and modify behavioral intervention plans based on individual needs and goals
• Collaborate with our team of Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) to design and implement effective treatment plans
• Communicate effectively with families, caregivers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless continuity of care
• Maintain accurate records and data to track progress and inform treatment decisions
• Participate in staff training and professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices and industry developments

Requirements:

• Must be a registered behavior technician (RBT) through the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB)
• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred
• 0 years of experience (entry-level or recent graduates welcome)
• Ability to work flexible schedules, including evenings and weekends as needed
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in electronic documentation systems and ability to maintain accurate records
