This is a full-time permanent position. The primary base is the Chemelex Romania Brasov office. The role operates within standard office hours -> working 3 days per week in the office and two days from home.
What you will experience in this position:
- Manage end‑to‑end invoice processing: receiving, validation, booking, month‑end reporting, payment, and reconciliation for one or two EMEA entities.
- Apply accounting and fiscal/VAT procedures for invoice processing, account reconciliations, payments, and related tasks.
- Research and resolve discrepancies by working with internal teams and external suppliers.
- Ensure accurate and timely processing of assigned transactions.
- Review balance sheet accounts and prepare reconciliations.
- Support daily tasks, assist in projects, and provide input to improve processes and service quality.
- Participate in process improvement initiatives.
- Work closely with Chemelex employees on invoice queries, payment methods, travel & expense processes, and card-related topics.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure continuity of operations in your area of responsibility.
- Create and process payments (bank files), support automations, and handle issues related to these activities.
- Communicate effectively with suppliers and internal partners.
- Process transactions from travel & expense systems (e.g., Concur), ensuring compliance checks and communication with stakeholders.
- Prepare and deliver periodic reports on time.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Economics (Accounting preferred).
- 1+ years of experience in Accounts Payable, including PO/Non‑PO processing and 3‑way match.
- Strong MS Office skills, especially Excel, and ERP knowledge - SAP ideal
- Ability to process high volumes of data with accuracy.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Advanced English level.
