As a Shipping Specialist, you’ll play a key role in ensuring products leave our facility accurately, efficiently, and on time—helping deliver a great experience to our customers every day.
In this role, the Shipping Specialist will be responsible for the following essential functions
1. Able to perform the final inspection of AMI products per applicable inspection checklists.
2. Packages AMI products per internal training and applicable work instructions.
3. Follow quality procedures applicable.
4. Responsible for entering proper information on tablets including but not limited to (time, quantity, serial number, etc.)
5. Responsible for entering the proper information into the PaceJet shipping system and attaching the proper labels to the packaging.
6. Notify Quality Assurance if any product or material is nonconforming.
7. Notify Inventory Control of any inventory shortages (i.e. packaging materials, parts, etc.).
8. Update internal reprocessed items log for items found during inspection.
9. Maintain a clean and safe work area.
10. Understands and adheres to Quality & Compliance policies and procedures.
11. Follows safety procedures and maintains a clean and safe work environment.
12. Utilizes appropriate personal protective equipment where/when necessary.
13. Contributes to a respectful, non-hostile, non-violent work environment.
14. Understands the purpose, value, and impact work has on product customers and users.
15. Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
· High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
· Ability to follow prints, read and interpret documents; use material/equipment properly.
· Monitors own work to ensure quality and demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness.
· Knowledgeable on use of common hand tools.
· Knowledgeable on use of computers (AMI will provide internal system training)
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS & WORK ENVIRONMENT
· Ability to stand for long periods of time.
· Ability to withstand moderate levels of noise.
· Ability to twist, turn, bend, reach, push, and pull.
· Ability to lift product and other items, up to 60 pounds. Requests assistance with lifting and moving products as needed.
Summary
We offer a competitive hourly rate of $20.25 to $22.62 range, based on experience and qualifications, along with annual bonus and profit-sharing opportunities tied to performance.
