Job Description
The Americas Facilities Manager is a key member of the Real Estate & Facilities team, reporting to the Real Estate & Facilities Functional Lead.
This role is responsible for leading facilities and workplace operations for the New York office while driving regional alignment and operational consistency across the Americas portfolio, which includes offices in both North and South America continents.
Operating within an outsourced service delivery model, the role provides leadership across supplier management, workplace operations, and project execution. The position plays an important role in shaping service delivery standards, enhancing the employee workplace experience, and supporting the execution of the broader Real Estate & Facilities strategy across the region.
This is a high-impact role offering the opportunity to grow into a Senior Manager position, with increasing ownership of regional strategy, supplier performance optimization, and portfolio-wide initiatives.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Oversee facilities and workplace operations for the New York office.
- Manage on-site direct report, providing leadership, coaching and performance management with day-to-day facilities operations.
- Act as the primary point of contact for senior leadership on workplace-related matters.
- Ensure a safe, compliant, and high-performing office environment aligned with company standards.
- Drive continuous improvement of the employee workplace experience.
Regional Leadership (Americas)
- Provide leadership and coordination across the Americas facilities portfolio.
- Partner with local teams and global suppliers to drive consistency in service delivery, standards, and processes.
- Own escalation management across the region, ensuring timely and effective resolution of issues.
- Support the development and implementation of regional facilities strategies and initiatives.
- Identify opportunities for standardization, efficiency, and cost optimization across locations.
- Lead relationships with third-party suppliers and service providers across the region.
- Identify opportunities to enhance supplier performance, service quality, and cost efficiency.
- Support delivery of office projects including buildouts, refurbishments, and relocations.
- Partner with external project managers and internal stakeholders (IT, Risk & Compliance, business leaders).
- Ensure projects are aligned with strategic objectives and delivered on time and within budget.
- Oversee administration of workplace systems (e.g., access control, room booking platforms).
- Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations and internal policies across all locations.
- Support space planning, utilization tracking, and workplace optimization initiatives.
Skills & Experience
- Experience in facilities, workplace, or office management within a regional or multi-site environment.
- Demonstrated ability to manage staff and operations while contributing to broader strategic initiatives.
- Strong stakeholder management skills, including experience supporting senior leaders.
- Proven experience managing third-party suppliers and driving performance outcomes.
- Experience supporting workplace projects (moves, refurbishments, buildouts).
- Strong problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to operate effectively across multiple locations, priorities, and time zones.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Real Estate, or a related field (preferred).
- 6–9 years of relevant experience in facilities or workplace management.
- Prior people management experience required.
Additional Information
- Office-based role (minimum 4 days per week in New York City).
- Travel across the Americas region as needed,
- Compensation: $125,000 annually. Open for discussion as individual salaries are based on education, geographic location, and alignment to the market data.
