The Regional Broad Market Sales Manager is a trusted sales advisor with an entrepreneurial mindset who thrives in a fast‑paced, results‑driven environment. This role requires strong ownership and the ability to build scalable processes.
The ideal candidate can translate complex FPGA technologies into compelling business value and lead by example in customer engagements.
The role is supported by dedicated channel FAEs but requires the ability to independently present the company roadmap, value proposition, and technical direction to customers and partners.
Key Accountabilities
- Create and develop business opportunities for the Lattice Semiconductor FPGA and solutions portfolio across new and existing customers and market segments.
- Drive business growth across EMEA, with a focus on industrial, video, automotive and A&D segments, meeting or exceeding sales and design targets including emerging applications like drones, humanoids, AI at the edge.
- Conduct market analysis and define account and go‑to‑market strategies that strengthen customer relationships and enable sustainable growth.
- Identify customer needs and pain points, and translate them into actionable product, solution, and account strategies.
- Lead complex technical and commercial discussions with customers, building long‑term, trusted relationships.
- Represent the company at a senior level and manage escalations independently when required.
- Collaborate closely with Sales, Marketing, R&D, and Support to align execution with market needs and product strategy.
- Anticipate business and schedule risks and proactively drive mitigation from issue identification through resolution.
Customer Communication & Engagement
- Lead complex, multi‑stakeholder customer discussions with clarity and confidence.
- Communicate concisely and effectively across technical and executive audiences.
- Build credibility by selling on value, not price.
Cross‑Functional & Cross‑Cultural Effectiveness
- Drive alignment across internal teams to capture market opportunities.
- Work effectively with international customers, partners, and global internal stakeholders.
- Operate comfortably across EMEA, APAC, and North American business contexts.
Required Skills & Experience
- 10+ years of experience in industrial sales, marketing, or business development within the semiconductor or related technology industries.
- Proven track record managing complex customer relationships and driving product and solution adoption.
- A Good technical understanding of the value proposition of FPGA vs ASP’s (Application Specific Products) and key trends like security, CRA (Cyber Resilience Act) is “a must have”.
- Solid understanding of commercial concepts such as Ship & Debit, Broken Cost, NPI, and OPEX/CAPEX and the importance of Supply Resilience.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with the ability to identify and execute growth strategies.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and collaboration skills; confident speaking to large audiences.
- Fluent in English; local language proficiency and strong multicultural awareness required.
- Valid driver’s license.
Preferred Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Prior leadership experience within a semiconductor or technology‑driven organization.
- In‑depth knowledge of FPGA technology and target application segments.
- Educational background in Electrical Engineering or Telecommunications preferred; master’s degree or higher is a plus.
Location
For the region Central/East Europe, the candidate ideally resides in the DACH region (Germany, Austria, Switzerland) or East Europe (ie Poland, Czech Republic..) working in a Hybrid working environment (mostly from home office).
