Base Pay: Starting at $100,000 + Commission 
Position Overview
We are seeking an energetic and driven Inside Sales Representative to play a pivotal role in driving sales and fostering customer relationships for our professional nutritional supplement products. In this role, you will engage with Health Care Professionals (HCPs) and other key decisionmakers, executing targeted inside sales strategies that fuel new business growth within your assigned territory. You will be responsible for identifying, nurturing, and converting sales opportunities while delivering exceptional customer experience. 
Key Responsibilities
  • Performance Goals: Consistently meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets, including call and order volume, revenue growth, and other key performance indicators.  
  • Sales Generation: Drive revenue growth by managing end-to-end sales activities, including processing new leads, conducting inbound and outbound calls, and maintaining consistent customer follow-up.
  • Business Development & Sales Execution: Leverage internal databases and strategic relationships to identify and qualify high-value prospects in alignment with company objectives. Proactively uncover new sales opportunities, including expanding product penetration within existing accounts, and execute targeted sales activities supported by daily pre-call planning.
  • Customer Engagement & Product Recommendation: Identify and engage with your clients to recommend appropriate Designs for Health® products and resources by effectively creating product and educational awareness.
  • Product Education & Customer Enablement: Deliver tailored product information sessions based on individual customer needs to strengthen customer knowledge of our products, introduce new product offerings and provide confidence in their product recommendations to patients. 
  • Account Performance Analysis & Risk Mitigation: Analyze client purchasing patterns to identify declining trends and proactively implement strategies to mitigate further revenue loss.
  • Customer Support & Relationship Management: Respond promptly and professionally to customer inquiries, requests, and complaints, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction and relationship retention. 
  • Territory Coverage: Support vacant or unassigned territories and work with regional sales teams to enhance productivity through customer acquisition, growth, and retention strategies.
  • CRM Management: Accurately track and document customer interactions, sales transactions, and business insights in the CRM database. Provide strategic input for future sales call planning.
  • Collaboration & Active Participation: Attend and actively participate in meetings, tradeshows and other professional development events, by listening attentively, remaining open?minded to diverse perspectives, identifying root causes of issues, and responding thoughtfully in real time to achieve the most effective and mutually beneficial outcomes.
  • Compliance: Adhere to company policies, procedures, and all applicable regulations.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree preferred; background in nutrition, health sciences, or a related healthcare profession is a plus but not required.
  • 5+ years of successful inside/outside sales experience, preferably within the professional nutritional supplements industry, pharmaceutical, or medical products/devices industry.
  • Exceptional verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills with a customer centric focus.
  • Strong multitasking, time management, and prioritization skills.
  • Ability to learn and retain product-specific information and demonstrate ISR competencies.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel) and CRM systems (e.g., NetSuite, Salesforce).
  • Capable of working independently and as part of a team.
  • Willingness to travel as required.
